Healthcare

Most people living in Estonia enjoy state-provided healthcare, free of charge, and equally available to everybody. State health insurance is available for all employees, students, and unemployed people who have registered for it. This includes children, pregnant women and parents of small children. It gets even better, though: All children under 19 have free dental care, as well. Estonia provides all that is necessary to take care of your health, and to find a specialized healthcare provider to analyze and treat your health concerns.

Foreigners can have free healthcare, as well, if they are registered in the employment register, or are registered as unemployed. Your address needs to be registered in Estonia, and you must have an Estonian ID code, as well. Emergency care is free for everyone.
