Nets Estonia, the company that mediates card payment services, is dealing with difficulties resulting in issues with card payments.
Some of the biggest banks in Estonia agree that card payments are disturbed at the moment. The representative of Swedbank Swedbank is a Nordic-Baltic banking group. says, however, that some of their card payments go through, while others will not, but they have fewer problems than other banks due to being less involved with Nets Estonia.
LHV bank also confirms the problems and apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused customers.
An employee in SEB bank states that the current problem concerns all banks with connections to Nets Estonia.
