Tarvo Teslon, the manager of the real estate portal kv.ee finds that the peak season of real estate renting is now.

It has become a so-called tradition for the real estate prices for apartments for rental to go up in August. The high demand is due to the start of the autumn season when people return to their jobs. Summer vacations are over, and students return to their studies at universities. This year we also have nearly 45,000 Ukrainian refugees, many of whom are interested in renting an apartment in Tallinn Tallinn, the largest city and capital of Estonia (population 440 000). . All this shows a vast demand for rental properties.

When buying a flat, remember that real estate prices have gone up drastically compared with the rental costs. So the habit of many - buying a flat to rent out is not exactly a move to step at the moment. If you are looking or thinking about renting a flat in the capital, keep your eyes out there and be quick as the market for rental apartments narrows quickly. Or, as the saying goes, " lähevad nagu soojad saiad," meaning "go like hotcakes out of the oven."
